Sustainability-Linked Bond

We have issued the first Sustainability Linked-Bond(SLB)* in the Japanese Chemical industry. Among the KIZUNA indexes in the Fifth Mid-Term Management Plan, we have linked two key indicators for risks and opportunities in our sustainability management: CO₂ emissions reduction and consolidated sales index of sustainable products, and are working to achieve these targets. We have also obtained a third-party opinion and a post-issuance verification report on the conformity of the SLB.
